Bonjour tout le monde, Good morning!

I am truly blessed as given an opportunity to live in this amazing country of Canada, thanks to my husband who patiently waited and graciously brought me here in Quebec since 2019.

Despite not having any financial background back in the Philippines nor any interest in it, or worse, having a negative money mindset, I started this desire to learn about the financial domain. Being able to see opportunities for growth and financial abundance here, I became very much drawn to it.

Few months after arriving in Montreal, I enrolled in a French course for immigrants at UQAM. I had to stop five months later due to some family reason. Then, I resumed learning the language at Centre Lartigue in late 2020. I plan to review and study again, but I know it will take me some time as well as focus in order to achieve fluency. But I am grateful to have met fellow immigrants and colleagues during that phase of my life. C'était magnifique !

While learning French language in 2021, I took this weekly course about starting a business, and I received an AVS in Starting a Business at Ahmon Institute of Montreal. In 2022, I studied Accounting in the same school and got a diploma in Vocational Studies in Computerized Accounting in 2024. During this time, I volunteered as a Tax Preparer for NDG Community Council for the 2022 taxation year. In 2023, I studied level 1 Taxation at H&R Block Tax Academy and was able to work with the company for the 2023 taxation year..

In May 2024, I was introduced to Greatway Financial, Inc., and I decided to study about Life Insurance. Aside from my innate desire to learn, I also felt the sincere support of the Greatway team I was fortunate to belong to... And in January 2025, I got my license as a Financial Security Advisor in Quebec from the Autorité des marchés finaciers (AMF) and consequently a member of the Chambre de la securité financière (CSF). In addition, I am also a licensed life & health insurance agent in Ontario awarded by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario!

Also, I am a Certified Career Coach and a member of Certified Coaches Alliance.

I work on a parttime basis as an Accounting Clerk for Mega Belts, Inc.

In May 2025, I quit working as a Bookkeeper for S. Kumar Financial Services. as I wanted to spend more time building this business.

One of my long-term financial goals is to become a financial planner, your financial planner! After wearing a lot of career hats, I feel I have found my favorite green hat ;)

As I continue to educate myself financially, I have realized financial education and information should be shared to all. Reality is, life is practical and being equipped with the tools of the practicalities of life will allow us to make the best decisions in life in order to be successful and happy and be the best person we are meant to be, not only for our selves, but most specially for our loved ones.
